Hello Continuum Community,
As mentioned in our last update, tomorrow (April 17) we'll be authorizing BackerKit to begin step 2 of the lockdown process: Processing Payments.
Oh yeah, I've also got another digital reward that'll go out later tomorrow as well.

BACKERKIT PAYMENT PROCESSING BEGINS TOMORROW
We have now locked in our rewards and will be able to provide final numbers to our shipping partners. Now, we've got two more key steps before fulfillment of the hardcover book:
1. CONFIRM ALL PAYMENT INFORMATION - For any additions you made in BackerKit, any pre-orders, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed. Later today, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down and process all outstanding payments. If there are any issues, don't panic. BackerKit will re-attempt any unprocessed transactions each day so you can update your information and they'll catch it the next day.
2. CONFIRM SHIPPING INFORMATION - Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for April and May 2020. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by APRIL22 2021. In six days, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can start picking and packing orders, with plans to begin shipping out by the end of the month.
I'm closing the gap on confirming shipping info a few days, because our fulfillment house has received the books! I'm hoping we can give them info a bit earlier and maybe they can turn it around even faster. Fingers crossed for luck!
Once again - to confirm We will ship to the address in the system as of April 22nd and consider it job done once it's delivered.
There are still a handful of Brazilian backers that need to enter their CPF information. We cannot ship your order until this is entered, so please double check that it's included in your address my Brazilian friends!
(Of course, if you're getting digital rewards only, you don't need to worry about your address. This is just for the physical books).

This is the information that will lock in on April 17th. Please ensure it's accurate for the next 6 weeks. If there are any issues around the timing of these shipments (ie, if you're moving in 2 weeks or currently in between fixed addresses), contact me and I can delay the shipment for you.

NEW CHARACTER SHEET AVAILABLE
Depending on how you've set up your notifications with DriveThruRPG, you may have received a notice yesterday that the Trinity Continuum: Aberrant PDF has been updated and the latest version is now available for you to download.
The new addition is a second PDF- a form-fillable Aberrant character sheet! I know the team was hoping to get this to you a bit earlier, but there have been some behind-the-scenes Adobe shenanigans that kept the interactive nature from exporting correctly. Anyway, they finally got it fixed for this one and if you go to your DriveThruRPG library and look for your copy of Trinity Continuum: Aberrant (or just filter to Updated files and sort by date), you'll be able to download the new sheet.
BACKERKIT LOCKDOWN PROCESS
The hardcover Trinity Continuum: Aberrant books are part of Onyx Path's spring shipping schedule. The book is now at the printer, and over the past few months the team has reviewed and approved test print proofs and confirmed order quantities. The books are printing now and should deliver to our fulfillment partners by the end of April. Though we've come a long way on this project, there are still a few final checklists and hurdles to jump. But we're getting close!
All of that said, it means it's time to start locking in their backer and pre-order quantities, collect any outstanding payments, and confirm shipping information so they know how to allocate the books. The first step in this process is for everyone to review their BackerKit information and ensure it's accurate.

LOCKDOWN SCHEDULE
1. CONFIRM REWARDS - I'll be locking down all Reward Lists, so if you wanted to add any additional rewards, please do so by APRIL 3, 2021. In just over one week, I will lock down all reward lists and you won't be able to adjust or add anything after that time.
2. CONFIRM ALL PAYMENT INFORMATION - For any additions you made in BackerKit, pre-orders, or any payments that did not process at the end of the Kickstarter campaign, please ensure your payment information is up to date, valid, and ready to be processed by APRIL17, 2021. In just over three weeks, I will instruct BackerKit to lock down and process all outstanding payments.
3. CONFIRM SHIPPING INFORMATION - Please ensure your shipping information is up-to-date with your expected address for May 2021. Please ensure that this information is entered and correct by APRIL26, 2021. In just over four weeks, I will take the shipping information we have for you in BackerKit and provide that to our fulfillment partners, so they can start picking and packing orders, with plans to begin shipping in May.
Quick note on schedules and timelines
2021 continues the trend established last year, demonstrating that time does not work the way we think, and all plans need to be adjustable on the fly. I'm trying to keep a little ahead to have room to make alterations as needed, but obviously, these dates and the idea of delivering in May our best guesses based on current projections. Everything seems on track to get these books out in the spring shipment, but should things change, I'll send communication and we'll update as necessary.
ADDRESS CONFIRMATION & DELIVERY OBLIGATIONS.
Consider this the (at least) four-weeks-from-fulfillment warning to update your information, after which point, you agree that our responsibility to you is to ship your order as listed in our BackerKit pledge manager system, that title and risk passes to you upon delivery to a common carrier for such shipment, and you are responsible for import duties or any other duties that may be payable to the relevant tax authorities, providing correct address information and ensuring this address is deliverable by normal methods. Failure to confirm mailing address prior to April 26, 2021 will be taken as agreement that all obligations have been met and no further action or effort is required on the part of Onyx Path.
That's my brief surface-style semi-legal notice saying, basically, we're going to ship to the address you've provided by our cut off date, so please ensure your information is as accurate as possible. And, we'll do our best to get the book into your hands and make sure it all works out! But we can only work with the information we have, and shipping systems as they are today. Things have been weird lately, so let's work together to make it happen. I'll do my best on my end!
(Of course, if you're getting digital rewards only, you don't need to worry about your address. This is just for the physical books and screens).

This is all in anticipation of shipping in May. I will send another update when the books are actually ready to go and will begin shipping, but we need to have this information locked down prior to that stage. February 2021 Update

No big announcement quite yet, but this is the update that's full of anticipation for next month.
I'll dress up for March. Promise.
Our main reward, the TrinityContinuum: Aberrant hardcover, is currently in the test print proofing phase. This means the printer has created pages and sent them to the Onyx Path team for review and correction. So, feedback has been provided and the printer will update with all of the requested changes. The team is working hard to ensure this book lives up to the precedent set by Trinity Continuum, Trinity Continuum: Æon, and other Onyx Path releases.
So, there are still a few more steps before I begin the lockdown process, but we're getting closer. Once I have confirmation that the books have completed printing and are being shipped to our fulfillment partners, I will begin locking in final orders, processing any BackerKit payments, and getting a final confirmation on shipping information.

GO ON AN ADVENTURE!
I hinted at this last month (though didn't know any of the details at that time), but I can finally share some info.
Follow along as Max Mercer, a cunning daredevil with extraordinary luck, leads an amazing group of daring humans known only as the Aeon Society. These heroes travel all over the world to investigate strange phenomena, right wrongs, and protect the innocent.
Out today is the 4th episode of Tales of the Aeon Society! A recently recovered radio program from the 1930s that the team at Onyx Path have lovingly restored at great cost featuring the thrilling adventures of Max Mercer and the Aeon Society! Listen as they investigate A Missing Teammate!!!

2020 Year End Update

Hello Continuum Community,
As we approach the finish to 2020, I'm looking at the all of the updates and e-mails and forms and feedback. It's been quite a year, with some big challenges, but also seeing Trinity Continuum: Aberrant come together after everyone's feedback during the kickstarter campaign, and then watching it get closer and closer to completion. Our final books are still a bit off, but I know that the Onyx Path team is working on finalizing the content and making 2021 a little more exciting than this year's been.

This year has obviously been full of unexpected challenges and difficult times. Our campaign funded during summer of 2019, but it seems like it's been about 5 years since then! Despite the challenges and obstacles thrown at the Onyx Path team, with great effort and resilience, they were able to deliver our PDF reward a few days earlier than anticipated! Normally, I'd call that a win. But it 2020, that counts as a double-win and I'm very happy to have had at least one big victory this year (although it had nothing to do with me, I will always celebrate a job well done!)

ONYX PATH ON KICKSTARTER IN 2020
To say this year was challenging would be an understatement. Despite difficult, uncertainty, and demanding situations, the Onyx Path team continued to work on the great projects that have made us fans. It wasn't easy - schedules shifted, delays managed, and difficulties dealt with - but here we are at the end of 2020 and, despite the chaos, there are some victories to show!
Kickstarter continues to be an important part of the process for Onyx Path, and looking at the long list of projects in the works on the Monday Meeting Notes blog, it certainly looks like that’ll continue to be the case in 2021.
Rather than just take pre-order for an upcoming project, Kickstarter has allowed Onyx Path to gauge interest in game lines (to see if they should develop additional projects beyond those offered during the campaign), and sometimes even add additional projects to a game line immediately via Stretch Goal achievements. More importantly, it’s a chance to interact with the community and for everyone to get involved from the earliest stages.
Looking at 2020, Onyx Path had 7 Kickstarter campaigns funded, with one more currently on the go!
And, though the campaign still has a day to go, the recent DeadMan's Rust mega-adventure and setting supplement for ScarredLands 5th Edition has funded, which means it will get added to the list soon!
