As we slide through this busy final week of November, I know we're still all basking in the glow of our Trinity Continuum: Aberrant backer PDFs from last month. But, time marches on and it's time for a month end update.

It's a little too early to post the month end summary for November, but I couldn't wait another week to get out this quick announcement.

Trinity Continuum: Aberrant Feedback Form Will Be Closed Tomorrow!

That's right - now that we've all had a couple weeks with the Backer PDF version of Trinity Continuum: Aberrant, the development team will be closing down the feedback form tomorrow so they can begin the final phase of getting this book to us.

So, if you've got any final notes for the Trinity Continuum: Aberrant team, it's time to get them in now!

Hey there, Continuum Community,

So, a little bit earlier this week, I said everything was on track for the backer PDF to hit the projected November 2020 delivery date? Well, even though there's one last art piece still in progress (a six-page comic at the start of the book, nothing to do with rules), the Onyx Path team wanted to get it out to you as quickly as possible.

So, today's the day!

TRINITY CONTINUUM: ABERRANT BACKER PDF

Trinity Continuum: Aberrant is a game of superpowered adventure in the near-future of the Trinity Continuum. In 2018, novas — people with superhuman powers — first appeared following the explosion of a space station high above Earth. Now, 10 years later, thousands of novas have transformed the world, using their extraordinary powers to fight crime, clean up the environment, invent new technologies, and create wonders. The presence of novas has also caused problems, and some fear the powerful individuals — first called “aberrants” — due to their unpredictable powers and impact they have on the world around them. Still, love them or hate them, people can’t get enough of novas, and being one is a ticket to instant celebrity, fame, and fortune.

Some highlights of Trinity Continuum: Aberrant include:

• Details on the super-powered novas and how they fit into the Trinity Continuum 
• Updated Storypath rules and character creation information for novas
• Dozens of character biographies to quickly populate the world of 2028
• Storyguide advice on how to run Aberrant in a wide variety of tones and sub-genres

Of course, I'm listing all of that knowing that you're already familiar with book! It's never not fun to have a summary, though! And, it's a good moment to catch our breath as we head into reward distribution info!

BACKER PDF VERSION

This is the first version of Trinity Continuum: Aberrant to be released. We've sent you these initial Backer PDFs for three reasons:

1) Who wants to wait?! These projects can take a long time to turn into final releases - you know that - and the Onyx Path team wants to get them into your hands as quickly as possible!

2) To thank you for your support! This project, literally, is a direct result of your support during the Kickstarter campaign. You deserve to see it before anyone else!

3) To make the final version the best it can be! The design and development teams have done their best to proofread and correct any errors and typos - but some always sneak through. If you catch any typos, incorrect math, visual glitches, and the like, we want to hear about them and correct them before we send the book off to print.

With that in mind, I'd like to introduce the Trinity Continuum: Aberrant Feedback Form!

Generally, we try to keep errata collection open for the next 2 weeks, although it may be accessible a little bit longer due to the chaotic nature of the world we're in now. Still, please report what you can as soon as possible to make sure we're getting everything covered.

We won't be collecting errata from other spots, just this specific form. Please note this form will be for errata only - typos, incorrect math, page elements that overlap incorrectly, etc. It won't be for book discussion - you can do that in a different thread, or on the Kickstarter comments page.

Also, they already know about the Page XX notations - those are usually corrected after any changes are made and the books are being finalized.

After any needed corrections are made (based on your feedback!), we will prepare an updated final PDF version of the book and you will receive a notice from DrivethruRPG that you can re-download your file with the latest version.

You've already made the book a reality with your Kickstarter support. Now you can make it even better by helping us crowdsource any minor errors and corrections.

Wow. I just posted our month end update, and it's already out of date! I look forward to moving projects from Pending to Delivered in my November post! Until then, start reading!

October 2020 Update

Hello Continuum Community,

Oh, we're so close I can almost taste it! 

But... not quite yet. I think we're finally going to get our big update in November, so this is just a round of of where we sit right now... so close to seeing our Trinity Continuum: Aberrant PDF rewards sent out.

So, as far as I know, everything is on track for backers to receive their Trinity Continuum: Aberrant PDFs in November. Once this goes out, we'll open up a special errata form to collect everyone's feedback in order to make the final pdf and hardcover release as close to perfect as it can be.

Before all of that, though, you'll get to see it first! And play it first! And share your thoughts!
